Truckers pelted with rocks on 401, OTA offers reward

Three truck drivers were nailed with rocks while driving along the 401 near Woodstock, Ontario, last Friday.

One driver was hit by a rock after it smashed through the windshield, but managed to bring the truck to a safe stop. The other two drivers were also able to stop safely.

Three males were observed on top of the overpass at the time.

The Ontario Trucking Association is offering $1,000 towards Crime Stoppers to apprehend the individuals involved.

Anyone who observed people or vehicles on or at the overpass at this time period or has information on this incident, are asked to contact either the Oxford County OPP at 519-688-6540 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
