shot at prestigious Entrepreneur Of The Year award

Ron Tepper of Woodbridge, Ont. intermodal and cross-dock specialist Consolidated Fastfrate; Rolly Uloth of The Rosedale Group, a Mississauga, Ont.-based truckload, LTL and warehousing provider; and Ric Peterson of Calgary’s Producers Oilfield Services, which recently merged with Mullen Group to boost that company to Canada’s second largest for-hire carrier.

Canada’s most prestigious business awards program is now in its 13th year. The program considers nominees in a number of business categories in each Canadian region before selecting finalists.

“The individuals who exemplify a commitment to excellence in growing their businesses and cultivating their success deserve to be celebrated. Their leadership shapes the social and economic landscape and we’re thrilled to encourage their continued success,” national director of the awards program, Joe Telebar, said about all the nominees.

Provincial finalists go on to compete with top entrepreneurs from other jurisdictions in October. The coveted national honor of Entrepreneur Of The Year will be announced November 2, 2006, in Ottawa.

In June 2007, Canada’s Entrepreneur Of The Year moves to the world stage, joining more than 35 country recipients participating in the international competition for the title of World Entrepreneur Of The Year.
