TruckGen in step with storing generators

Long available to Kenworth and Peterbilt owners, Freightliner Classic XL users will now also have the luxury of a new step box that can house a stand-alone generator.
Jacksonville, Fla.-based TruckGen, manufacturer of ultra-compact generators, has exceeded the 11-inch high factory step-box pan with one that the company says provides enough depth to install its UCTI-3.5 generator.
Once the gen-set is mounted in the pan, the original factory step box lid and foot step are reattached to the box to give it a factory look, hiding the onboard generator.
