MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — TST Overland Express is launching two new scholarships for international transportation and Customs students.

The scholarship will be administered by the Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) Education Foundation, according to the company. The two scholarships, each worth $1,000, will be awarded annually to two high-achieving students who are entering their second year in Seneca College’s International Transportation and Customs program.

The program focuses on international transportation, Customs brokerage and international freight forwarding.

“This is a great opportunity for TST Overland Express,” said Rob O’Reilly, president of TST Overland Express. “We are so pleased to be able to help two very deserving students who have demonstrated their commitment to an education in what we think is a very important field.”
