TTA hosting recruitment and retention luncheon

TORONTO, Ont. — The Toronto Trucking Association (TTA) will be hosting a luncheon presentation on how to recruit and retain quality employees at the Weston Golf and Country Club March 23.

Ron Butcher from the Kennisis Group will be presenting on ways to attract and retain quality drivers, not just to individual companies, but to the industry in general.

Robyn Balfour from Thomas International will discuss the use of assessment tools in identifying, recruiting and retaining quality employees. Balfour’s presentation will cover assessments and the law; process in developing a driver job standard; driver behaviours in relation to collision rates and statistics; overall benefits of using an assessment tool; and aligning your drivers with your business strategy.
