Peterbilt is introducing two new TruckCare Preventive maintenance options, the company announced at the Mid-America Trucking Show.

Customers can now choose from a total of five class 8 TruckCare programs. The first option is the Customize Preventive Maintenance program and is designed for customers who have their own maintenance facilities, but still need to outsource some service. Customers rely on Peterbilt dealers to perform specific equipment inspection, service and repairs on an as-needed basis.

The second option, TruckCare Managed Preventive Maintenance, takes a more proactive role in full fleet maintenance management needs as it utilizes the dealer in a consultant role. The dealer assists in the spec’ing of new vehicles, optimizing maintenance intervals and tracking warranty coverages.
