Unilever, Schenker expand partnership

BRAMPTON, Ont. — Unilever has awarded Schenker of Canada a long-term logistics services contract elevating Schenker’s position as Unilever Canada’s largest strategic logistics service partner.

Schenker will consolidate Unilever Canada’s Lipton and Bestfoods brands at a central strategic logistics center.

“Our two companies are entering into a long-term business relationship that we are confident will be successful,” says Don Cockburn, director of warehousing and transportation for Unilever Canada.

Schenker will operate the business at the newly constructed, 300,000-square-foot distribution center in Brampton, Ont. This dedicated facility will combine strategic automation with leading technology to deliver optimal efficiency and quality.
