Utility Completes Vancouver HQ After 7 Year Permit Battle

DELTA, BC — It seems that permit and environmental hurdles couldn’t stop Utility Trailer from expanding and building their latest warehouse in Delta, British Columbia.

The new 40-acre facility serves as Ocean Trailer’s — one of Utility’s independent dealerships — new headquarters just outside of Vancouver, BC.

“We purchased the land over seven years ago, but struggled with land and environmental permits,” said Sid Keay, president of Ocean Trailer. “We finally had clearance and now opened up in a very strategic location in Delta. This area is progressively in development with a new highway system and direct access to Vancouver’s largest port.”

Ocean Trailer has more than 200 employees from its three other locations in Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg. For more information on the 75,000-foot building, visit oceantrailer.com.
