TORONTO, Ont. — A classic truck show will be one of the highlights of this year’s Truck World, organizers have announced.

The SelecTrucks Classic Truck Showcase will feature vintage rigs from throughout North America. Eight show trucks from 1940 to 1975 will be part of the collection, says show manager Elizabeth McCullough.

Show organizers have also added a new seminar to the lineup. On Apr. 18 from 2 p.m. til 3 p.m., Ellen Voie, executive director of Women in Trucking will be discussing why the industry should support its female workforce and the group that represents them.

She will speak about the value women can add to the industry and the obstacles they might encounter in joining the industry. Truck World runs from Apr. 17-19 at the International Centre in Mississauga. For a full line-up and registration details, visit www.truckworld.ca.
