STOUFFVILLE, Ont. — Virtual Dispatch Limited has released Excelerate Live, a completely Web-based dispatch system for carriers, brokers and 3PLs.

Web-based applications are increasingly becoming the secret weapon of transportation companies large and small because they are affordable, cost effective, reliable and perhaps most important, mobile, according to the company. These applications are accessible anytime, anywhere as long as you have the internet. No costly hardware is required — the standard Internet -Explorer web browser is all you need to access this application.

Excelerate Live from Virtual Dispatch is ACE and EDI ready. Users can create orders online, email carrier and driver detailed confirmations, create transportation invoices and send them electronically along with proof of delivery documents which are handled through the document imaging option. Users can also create a login for their clients to track and trace the status of their orders on-line.

Most companies can start using the system in less than one hour. All that is needed is a username and password, the company says.

Michael Januszewski, President of Virtual Dispatch Limited, commented, “With the Excelerate Live application, size doesn’t matter. Whether you have one user or more than a hundred users, you can increase your profitability and customer satisfaction with our flexible web-based application.”

Virtual Dispatch Limited has been developing and supporting transportation software systems since 1997. VDL’s clients are located throughout North America both in the asset and non-asset sector of the transportation industry.
