DUBLIN, Va. — Volvo Trucks North America has named Patrick Collignon plant manager at its New River Valley truck plant.

He has been in his new role since December, 2008, the company reported. Formerly, Collignon was general manager of Volvo’s Ghent, Belgium plant, where he initiated lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and waste reduction programs.

The plant was the first truck plan in the world to become CO2-neutral, Volvo claims.
