Volvo Ships Over New Marketing Director from UK
GREENSBORO, NC — Göran Nyberg will be picking up where Canadian Ron Huibers left off as president of North American Sales and Marketing for Volvo.
Nyberg comes with 20 years of experience in the industry, and has been with Volvo Group since 2003. He’s occupied several senior management, distribution and sales positions around the world, and most recently was the managing director for Volvo Group UK Limited — the sale and marketing division in the United Kingdom.
He’ll be based out of Volvo’s North American headquarters in Greensboro, NC, and will report to Dennis Slagle, Volvo Group executive vice president for Trucks Sales & Marketing Americas.
