Volvo shuffles executive deck

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Volvo Trucks North America has announced three executive appointments.

Ron Huibers has been named senior vice-president, sales and marketing and will report directly to president and CEO Denny Slagle. Huibers has been with Volvo Group for 15 years, serving in a variety of management positions, most recently as senior vice-president of international operations for Mack Trucks.

Scott Kress has been named vice-president, sales, and will report to Huibers. Kress has more than 30 years experience in the industry and was most recently senior vice-president, sales and marketing.

And Russ Tedder has been named senior vice-president, truck remarketing. He’ll report to president Slagle as well. He has more than 30 years of industry experience and was most recently vice-president, fleet sales.

Volvo announced the appointments were effective April 1.
