GREENSBORO, NC — Volvo Trucks North America, Inc. has continued to expand its customer and dealer support with the addition of a new parts distribution center in Dallas, Texas.

The new PDC joins Volvo’s existing PDCs in Reno, Nev., Memphis, Tenn., Columbus, Ohio, Toronto, Ont., and Joliet, Ill.

"This continues our drive to provide our customers with the premium service they expect from Volvo," said Rikard Jonsson, senior vice president – Parts Sales & Marketing. "This means the Volvo dealers served by this PDC are now able to receive their parts orders in most cases overnight by truck, instead of resorting to air freight. Our customers will benefit from enhanced parts availability, quicker parts delivery, and the reassurance that a large, fully-stocked PDC provides premium support to truck operators in a highly competitive freight market."

The Dallas PDC has a total of 63,000 square feet and is expected to fill more than 180,000 orders for parts annually.
