GRASS VALLEY, Cal. — VTrac Systems has introduced three asset tracking products to the marketplace at recent trade shows in Dallas and San Antonio.

Greg Houghton, VTrac Systems’ sales manager, says he returned from the Great American Trucking Show and the American Trucking Associations’ annual conference, with rave reviews from prospective customers after showcasing the technology at the two events.

VTrac’s product line includes the V-Link, V-Link 2 and the V-Link HE. Each system uses a proactive alarm system and can determine friend-or-foe hookup. The systems can also differentiate between yard movement and over-the-road hookups.

VTrac is so confident in its theft-prevention technology, the company says it will pay a good portion of the carriers’ insurance deductible if a V-Link-equipped unit is stolen.
