Webasto names new president, CEO

FENTON, Mich. — Webasto Product North America (WPNA) has named Mark Wallace the company’s new president and chief executive officer.

WPNA is the North American subsidiary of Webasto AG’s Global Comfort Solutions business unit. The company manufactures cab comfort systems such as auxiliary power units and heaters.

“Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the North American headquarters which will be the catalyst for our continued growth and pursuit of customer excellence,” said Phillip A. Thompson, president of GCS and member of the Webasto AG management board. “His skills and experience in manufacturing, quality and managing highly complex programs will be a great asset to us in achieving a period of sustained growth while we continue to invest in new technologies aligned with our customers’ comfort needs.”

Wallace makes the transition from his previous position as vice-president of operations and COO of Webasto Roof Systems Inc.
