WEBB Fires Up New Heater

WEBB, maker of engine, cab, and cargo heating systems, has added the WC40 auxiliary coolant heater to its product line. Designed to keep the engine and the bunk area warm during off-road hours without engine idling, the unit can be easily mounted on the tractor and plumbed into the existing coolant and fuel system.

The fuel consumption rate of the WC40 is minimal, the company says, and the unit draws only 3.3 amps of power from the vehicle’s electrical system. A remote, bunk-area hot water heat exchanger can also be added to provide 40,000 BTU/hr of warmth for driver comfort during cold-weather operation of the vehicle.

The WC40’s compact design includes a field-proven burner technology with a remote control panel that can be surface-mounted on the cab interior for operator convenience, and a simple one-switch starting system and built-in self-diagnostic program.
