Webinar: Is Your Private Truck Fleet an Asset or Liability?

TORONTO, ON — Running your own private fleet of trucks and drivers is like running your own trucking company.

While you have control of the delivery process with your customers, it comes at a cost. And as a recent survey from the Private Motor Truck Council of Canada revealed, 61 percent of companies do not benchmark their fleet to see if it is an asset or a liability.

On Nov. 21 a 45-minute webinar, hosted by Canada Cartage’s Senior Vice President David Zavitz, will walk you through what the fleet outsourcing company says are the factors you should consider when determining the best fleet model to support your strategic and growth objectives.

Webinar attendees will learn about:

  • Pros and cons of in-sourced versus out-sourced transportation
  • Importance of evaluating your current fleet proficiency in important areas of recruiting, safety, regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial performance
  • How to calculate your fleet’s Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
  • Available fleet benchmarking tools to guide you through the self-evaluation and TCO process

The webinar is set 1:00 – 1:45 p.m., Eastern time. Registration is on the Canada Cartage website.
