Website puts DEF locations on the map

BRIGHTON, Mich. — Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) may not be as widely available as windshield washer fluid, but the folks at Integer want to point you in the right direction.

Integer’s new website — discoverDEF.com — plans to offer an accurate and efficient DEF locating service for fleets and truckers.

The website is free to users and will help drivers to quickly find a supply of API-certified DEF at a convenient location, either at the roadside from a truckstop, OEM dealership, or retail outlet, or through a fleet terminal supplier.

The discoverDEF.com database will be updated daily and checked regularly for accuracy. DiscoverDEF.com will also be expanded to cover off-highway markets for DEF including agricultural and construction machinery.

Not only will the website tell truckers where they can find DEF, but also the best route to get there. Integer partnered with Telogis to ensure routing information would be tailored specifically for the trucking community.

“It is through our partnerships with the truck manufacturers, DEF suppliers, the American Petroleum Institute and our mapping technology partner Telogis that we are able to offer truck drivers across North America their first and only stop for finding DEF,” said David Uschwald, vice-president at Integer.
