Wiehoff to take over as CEO of C.H. Robinson

MINNEAPOLIS (Feb. 25, 2002) — Transportation broker C.H. Robinson Worldwide said on Friday its president, John Wiehoff, will replace D.R. “Sid” Verdoorn as its chief executive in May.

Wiehoff, 40, will be named CEO effective May 7, the date of the company’s annual shareholder meeting. Verdoorn, 63, will continue as chairman.

Wiehoff, who was named president in 1999, joined the company as controller in 1992.
