TORONTO, Ont. — There are only two weeks left to qualify for the Truck News/Chevron charity golf event early-bird draw. If you haven’t already sent in your registration form for the event, you should definitely do it soon. The cutoff for the early bird draw is April 20. Two lucky golfers will each win a Wooden Sticks cabin for four to be used the night before our charity event or night of the event. So get your registration form in today. Click HERE for more information and a registration form.

The event, which will take place at Wooden Sticks Golf Club on June 19, will raise funds for the Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and adult victimization. Its mandate is to assist Canadians affected by the life-long trauma of abuse and to educate the public about the detrimental role abuse plays in our society.

The fun-filled day will include: lunch; a round of golf; a free pre-game C.P.G.A. clinic and swing analysis; a beat the pro challenge; a putting contest; closest to the pin and longest drive challenges; GPS for each foursome; dinner; prizes; a silent auction; and more. The all-inclusive cost per foursome is $975. Individuals can register for $250 per person.
