Winnipeg’s Paul’s Hauling Gets Innovator Award

SAN ANTONIO, TX. — If there was one, main message to take away from PeopleNet’s 11th annual user conference this week, it was that data from technology is nothing without knowing how and what to do with it.

Paul’s Hauling, based out of Winnipeg, is a carrier that knows how to get the most out of its technology. The bulk carrier was awarded one of PeopleNet’s Innovator of the Year awards Tuesday evening.

The awards are given to PeopleNet cutomers that show exceptional leadership in using technology to create unique solutions that accelerate return on investment.

PeopleNet said that Paul’s Hauling has been an early adopter of ALK Navigation and ALK Route Sync since 2009. They’ve enhanced their system with Speedgauge, Activity Standards, Onboard Event Recording, Fault Codes, Satellite and Crude Workflow.

“These customers created exceptional ways to get the most from their PeopleNet technology investment, and we hope their pioneering contributions are an inspiration to all of our customers.”

Other winners were: Crosstex Energy Services, Dallas, TX.; J Rayl Transport, Akron, OH.; and MBI Energy Services, Belfield, ND.
