WIX changes up sales and service team

GASTONIA, N.C. – WIX Filters has announced that Steve Freestone and Lee Harris have accepted new roles within the company, while Susan Thompson and Marty Rhodes have added responsibilities.

“WIX’s legacy is built on technical superiority, outstanding customer service and global reach,” said Greg Dillman, senior vice president, North America operations for Affinia Group Inc. “Led by Edward Covington, this team is dedicated to growing and improving the business in those areas – and looks for ways to innovate what we’re already doing. We’re going to raise the bar even further, and make our processes even more seamless.”

Now, Steve Freestone is the technical services coordinator, while Lee Harris, the outgoing transitioning from technical services coordinator is the new graphic design and technical writer. Thompon will be the communication gatekeeper for customers and sales team. Going forward, Marty Rhodes the technical service and customer training manager, will focus on warranties, customer training and technical product details that Thompson sends out through her team.

“The Global Quality Team functions with a mission of improving efficiencies at WIX, both operationally and through the company’s product information and training opportunities,” said Edward Covington, vice president of quality assurance for WIX Filters. “The team focuses on blending marketing, product information and technology in an effort to better streamline communications at WIX and through its partners.”
