World’s fastest mountain-climbing truck to appear at Mid-America show

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. Mike Ryan, Hollywood stunt driver and founder of Mike Ryan Motorsports, will be showing his one-of-a-kind hand-built Freightliner Century Class S/T race truck at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky. March 23-26.

The 7,824 lb. truck has a 1250 hp Mercedes Benz engine with 2,700 ft-lbs. of torque. It also features a ZF 5-speed electronically-controlled transmission and ArvinMeritor drivetrain modified for racing which has helped propel the super truck to more than 100 mph.

The “world’s fastest mountain-climbing truck” was designed by Ryan for the Annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado Springs, Colo. where he recently set his fifth new record.

Future events and appearances for the truck include Truck World Canada April 20-22 in Toronto, Ont. and the Great American Trucking Show Aug. 24-26 in Dallas, Texas.
