TORONTO, Ont. — XTL Transport will be sponsoring the first annual Great Waterfront Trail Adventure which will have cyclists covering 680 km of Ontario’s waterfront. The end-to-end bike tour will traverse 41 communities over eight days along the shores of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River.

XTL has provided organizers with display material and have also put together “riding kits” for all the children that have signed up for the ride.

The event is put on by the Waterfront Regeneration Trust which works with the community to expand and enhance the Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail and Greenway as part of a larger strategy to regenerate the waterfront and promote it as a way to achieve a healthy environment and lifestyle.

The sold out tour begins tomorrow, July 4, and will continue until July 11.
