VANCOUVER, B.C. — Yokohama Tire (Canada) Inc. recently unveiled a new addition to its Geolandar line, the Geolandar H/T-S, which Yokohama describes as one tire line with three distinct applications.

“The Geolandar H/T-S breaks the design barriers,” says Stphane Morel, national manager, marketing and communications, consumer products. “It offers long mileage, all-season durability, comfort and handling for three distinct applications.”

The Geolandar H/T-S incorporates variations in design and construction specifically tailored for each of the three different vehicle applications it’s used on. Standard fitment applications have been designated G051. For ‘inch-up’ performance applications, there’s the G052, and for commercial applications, Yokohama offers the G053.

Special tread compounds assist the Geolandar H/T-S (G051) to deliver high-mileage durability, while cross-grooves enhance its all-season capabilities. Constant contact tread blocks reduce low-pitch noise caused by air passing through the tire grooves.

Morel says, “With the three variations of Geolandar H/T-S, we can meet the needs of almost any light truck or SUV owner. The line offers consumers the blend of features most in demand in today’s marketplace.”

Geolandar H/T-S is available in Canada in diameters from 15 inches to 20 inches.
