Waymo — a business that emerged from Google’s self-driving car project — is actively testing autonomous trucks in the southwestern U.S. And it recently demonstrated its Waymo Driver system at work.

In this video, you can see the driver’s hands as they release the steering wheel, as well as wireframe images that show what the system is tracking. The latter data is monitored by the Waymo employee in the passenger seat.
