Hi-Way 9 loses five tractors in Edmonton fire

EDMONTON, Alta. — Hi-Way 9 Express suffered the loss of five tractor-trailers after a fire ripped through the company’s Edmonton lot, the Edmonton Sun reports.

The fire started just before 6:30 a.m. Sunday, according to the report. It took 16 firefighters to contain the fire, which was extinguished by about 8 a.m. There were no injuries but the trucks were destroyed.
