Trucking HR Canada (THRC) has launched more than 50 new and updated employer tools for 2026, marking what it calls the largest expansion of its HR management library to date.

The resources are designed specifically for trucking and logistics employers and focus on recruitment, retention, performance management, and regulatory compliance.

“A strong and resilient trucking and logistics sector is essential to Canada’s economy,” said Angela Splinter, CEO of THRC. “Employers must remain compliant in a rapidly changing regulatory environment while also meeting the evolving expectations of today’s workforce.”

The first phase of the rollout includes practical tools such as recruitment templates, guidance on compliant interview questions, onboarding checklists, 90-day performance check-in frameworks, and performance appraisal best practices.

THRC said the materials are particularly geared toward small and mid-sized carriers that may not have dedicated HR departments and require turnkey solutions to manage workforce challenges efficiently.

The organization will host a March webinar to walk employers through the new tools, with additional resources — including AI-enabled tools and e-learning solutions — planned later this year.

The project is funded in part by the Government of Alberta.
