Cummins announces appointment of Paccar account executive

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Cummins Canada has announced the appointment of Jeff VanPoucke to the position of Paccar account executive, effective Dec. 15.

During his 12-year career with Cummins, VanPoucke successfully served in a number of leadership and customer-facing positions in sales, service and product support, according to a statement from the company. Since 2006, VanPoucke has been responsible for leading one of Cummins’s major global OEM account teams.  

Prior to this, VanPoucke spent three years in the Cummins distribution channel, and nearly seven years in the Cummins field organization based in Canada. He is a trained Six Sigma Green Belt (certification), and is experienced in leading Customer Focused projects.
 
VanPoucke has developed strong relationships and has earned the respect and trust of the customers he has supported during his many years with Cummins, according to the company statement. Both he and his wife are Canadian and now live in Columbus, Ind., with their two young children.

VanPoucke is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and holds an MBA from The Ivey School of Business at London, Ont.  He also earned his heavy equipment technician credentials from Sir Sandford Fleming College.
