Cummins Merger Results in New Management
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – The Cummins distribution centres in Quebec and Atlantic Canada have merged with the Cummins Ontario distribution centre to create Cummins Eastern Canada, and Michael Christodoulou has taken over as the new entity’s president.
“The challenge is merging two companies that worked well individually, together to create an even better company and higher customer satisfaction,” said Christodoulou.
The new company has 410 employees and is projected to produce $170 million in sales.
There will be no major changes in personnel (aside from Christodoulou’s appointment), company benefits or day-to-day work.
Christodoulou will continue to work out of the company’s Pointe Claire, Que. location but will also work closely with the Cummins facilities in Mississauga, Ont. and on the East Coast of Canada.
