COLUMBUS, Ind. – Cummins Engine has expanded its QuickServe support initiative to deliver parts and service whenever and wherever they’re needed in Canada and the U.S.

Cummins introduced its in-shop, distributor-based QuickServe initiative for all markets in 1997. The expanded service will utilize a mobile QuickServe unit and the company’s distribution center in Memphis, Tenn.

Orders will be accepted until midnight eastern time for next-day delivery to most locations in Canada and the U.S. Customers will also have access to a more liberal warranty policy and the use of an expanded selection of Cummins parts and components

The QuickServe service also includes scheduling options designed to coordinate faster repairs for Cummins customers on the road, a computer support system that can locate parts at the more than 3,800 Cummins dealers in the U.S. and Canada, and a 24-hour, toll-free number, 1-800-DIESELS, that offers a service locator, a resource library and an after-hours distributor call-out service. n
