Lazer Logistics’ electric fleet reaches 3 million zero-emission miles
Lazer Logistics said its electric vehicle spotter program has surpassed 3 million zero-emission miles while operating in the United States and Canada.
The company, based in Alpharetta, Ga., said in a news release that its electric fleet has logged more than 1.25 million operating hours and completed more than 6 million zero-emission spotting moves. Lazer estimates the program has displaced more than 1.5 million gallons of diesel fuel, saving more than $5 million in fuel costs and avoiding approximately 32 million pounds of carbon dioxide emissions.

“Crossing the 3 million mile mark demonstrates what is possible when innovation and commitment move together,” said Adam Newsome, CEO of Lazer Logistics. “Our zero-emission fleet is redefining how yard operations contribute to supply chains.”
“Our yard electrification program continues to deliver millions of dollars in fuel and efficiency savings to our customers across the United States and Canada. We have proven, through more than 3 million miles of Class 8 EV truck operations, that electrifying the yard supercharges our customers’ profits,” added Chris Bennett, vice president of EV, energy, and sustainability.
