UAP expands product offerings through FleetSpec acquisition
UAP has announced its purchase of FleetSpec, a specialist in heavy vehicle brake and air suspension components.
FleetSpec has been a supplier to UAP since its inception 25 years ago.
“We are delighted to welcome FleetSpec to the UAP family. This acquisition marks an important step for our Heavy Vehicle Division, as it enables us to strengthen our market position. In addition, we will ensure the long-term sustainability of FleetSpec’s activities, as succession planning is a major challenge for many companies,” said Alain Primeau, executive vice-president of UAP Heavy Vehicles.
“FleetSpec is a renowned and well-established company, and we share a common vision of excellence and customer service.”
The acquisition broadens UAP’s product portfolio and signals its intent to continue adding new product offerings, the company said in a release.
“We wish to express our deep gratitude to Jerry Radowitz, president of FleetSpec, for the exceptional dedication he has shown in building this company and for the trust he has placed in UAP,” the release said. “We look forward to working closely with the FleetSpec team to continue delivering solutions that meet our customers’ highest standards.”
