Centennial offers a new tech program

TORONTO, Ont. – Centennial College’s School of Transportation has unveiled a new pre-certificate for the truck and coach technician program.

The theory-based course prepares uncertified tradespeople to write the Ontario Truck and Coach Technician Certificate of Qualification exam.

Using the apprenticeship curriculum as a guideline, students will review engines, brakes, suspension and steering, fuel systems, electrical/electronics, geartrains and workplace practices and procedures. It is, however, only a preparatory course.

The course will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Jan. 5 to April 1, from 7 to 10 p.m. n
