CLOVERDALE, B.C. – The CPX Group of companies has made a series of major changes: Jim Mickey is now running the show.

Mickey has acquired all of the Cassidy family’s half-interest in the operating company shares. The affected corporations are Michawn Transportation, Coastal Pacific Xpress, Canadian Perishable Xpress and the U.S. affiliate Coastal Perishable Xpress.

The Cassidy’s asset-holding company, Dart Refrigerated Trailers, was also included.

The Cassidys have resigned their respective positions and will no longer be associated with the Group.

Mickey has assumed the role of president, and together with the pre-existing 50 per cent partner and vice-president Glen Parsons, will actively manage the day-to-day affairs of the companies.

Selected operations remain outside the deal and continue under Cassidy control, including the Pacific Highway Cold Storage facility and Scott and Sons Trucking. n
