Fuel hikes like Russian roulette

Dear Editor,

In regards to the volatile and somewhat crude prices for a barrel of goo:

The lowly independent operators are left to bear the burden of the decisions of OPEC as well as American price fixing due to cold weather, and deregulation.

All we can hope for is that there is enough of us (independents) who are stable enough to slow down the on-time delivery of cargo (as a protest), forcing the people of Canada to demand their products so that they can once again be happy with their lives.

Millions are going to lose their trucks while the current corporate Russian roulette is being played.
