GEORGETOWN, Ont. – John Cadenhead, a well-known fixture in the Ontario trucking industry, was laid to rest after succumbing to cancer. Cadenhead passed away after a lengthy battle with the disease. The industry figure founded Haultec Trailers of Mississauga, manufacturer of the Cobra Dump Trailer. Prior to founding Haultec, Cadenhead worked for King Equipment. He was a well-liked trucking industry pioneer. He leaves behind wife Evelyn and his children Lisa and Craig. The funeral was held at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ont. The family is asking that any contributions be directed toward the Gerry and Nancy Pence Brain Tumor Foundation c/o Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, 610 University Ave., Toronto, Ont., M5G 2M9.
