Kenworth Maska reaches big milestone

LA PRESENTATION, Que. – Kenworth Maska, located northeast of Montreal, recently sold its 500th truck since becoming a dealer in the Washington-based manufacturer’s network.

In a special ceremony, Claude Sylvestre and his son, Claude Sylvestre Jr., of Carrieres St-Dominique, were presented with a special plaque and a gold key to mark the occassion.

The company maintains a fleet of 35 trucks delivering concrete cement within a 45-mile radius of the St-Hyacinthe region.

The 500th truck, a Kenworth T800 mixer, is equipped with a Caterpillar C-12 engine, 18-speed Fuller transmission, 14,600-pound front axle and 46,000-pound rear ends.

The truck is part of a two-truck purchase by Carrieres St-Dominique.

With a main focus on agricultural- and vocational-based customers, Kenworth Maska has provided parts and service for more than 11 years.

Its 37,500 square-foot-facility, situated on 13 acres, includes 14 service bays and 2,500 square feet of retail space. n
