DON MILLS, Ont. – Truck News and Truck West have named Julia Kuzeljevich as their new assistant editor. And John Curran, who has worked as the magazines’ eastern editor, is promoted to the position of managing editor.

Kuzeljevich’s work has appeared in such publications as Motortruck and Canadian Transportation and Logistics. Most recently she has worked at an Internet-based news service for the softwood lumber industry, and at Air Canada.

“With her Internet experience and grasp of four languages, Julia will undoubtedly play a key role on our team,” said editorial director John G. Smith.

“And John has already played a leading role in the expansion of our news coverage. He’s a perfect fit for the role of managing editor.”

The changes take effect immediately. n
