Michelin Americas Truck Tires has introduced a new trailer axle tire, developed for regional and highway use with on/off road capability, the 275/7 OR 22.5 XTY2 LRH.

The new tire replaces the current version of the XTY and offers a new tread compound that provides enhanced resistance to chips and cuts and enhanced tread endurance. The XTY2 has a long tread life and added crown reinforcement for retreadability. Michelin says the new tire will also supply good braking and lateral traction.
