HARTLAND, N.B. – The Day & Ross Transportation Group’s general freight division says it has picked up a new method of locating and communicating with drivers while on the road.

The Intouch Fleet Management system is a wireless communication package facilitating contact with truckers while on route, allowing Day & Ross dispatchers, as well as family and friends, to connect with the driver more easily.

Intouch also enables shippers and receivers to check the status of their delivery and allows dispatchers to forward data messages to truckers through the Internet and the wireless network.
