Patch pickups are no picnic

Dear editor,

With respect to your story on trucknews.com “Prairie drivers among the worst,” I’ve been trucking in Canada for 34 years and have seen a lot of bad drivers but I tend to disagree with this article.

The worst drivers I’ve come across are oil field pickup trucks in Alberta.

They are usually aggressive around truck drivers.

They pass where and when they want to, pull out of side roads in front of you and have no regard for oncoming traffic. n
