SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Ridewell Suspensions has introduced its RCA-215 Flex-Mount Auxiliary Axle Suspension rated at a capacity of 22,500 lbs.

The new suspension is targeted towards vocational applications. It’s a non-steering air-ride/air-lift unit which the company says saves 50-72 lbs over its current 225 model offering.

The new Flex-Mount suspension is flexible and easily adjusts to various frame widths and ride heights, Ridewell says. It features a contoured axle seat for secure axle connection without U-bolts. The new design also boasts a new lightweight, double-bonded bushing, the company says.

Ridewell officials also say the wider beam spacing helps reduce axle stresses. The Flex-Mount is designed to handle axle drops of up to eight inches. It has 10.25-inches of total travel with as much as seven inches of lift. The suspension also has axle alignment adjustments of 3/8-inch at each hanger.
