TRANSCORE OFFERING SCHOLARSHIPS

If you have a son or daughter that’s pursuing a post-secondary education and you use TransCore’s services, your child could qualify for one of two $2,500 scholarships. One is based on academic excellence and the other on being a model student.

“I see this program as an opportunity to give back to the communities in which we live and work. More importantly, it’s one more way we can give back to our customers,” Claudia Milicevic, senior director and general manager of TransCore Link Logistics, said of the company’s new LinkScholar program.

The scholarships are available to family members of anyone within a TransCore member organization, including drivers, dispatchers and office staff. The scholarship is also available to non-clients, meaning any graduating high school student in Canada who has an affiliation to the transportation industry can apply. The deadline is June 30.
