UK truckmaker on the grow
SANDBACH, U.K. – United Kingdom truckmaker ERF Ltd. is expanding its manufacturing facility as part of its bid to become part of new global markets.
The assembling facility, being added to its production plant in northwestern England, cost 28 million Pounds and will cover more than 28 acres.
It will employ 750 and is expected to build more than 3,000 heavy trucks a year on a single shift alone.
The U.K. truckmaker recently introduced its ECS and ECX models in Europe. n
