BRAMPTON, Ont. — The Ontario Provincial Police have located the truck suspected of being involved in a fatal hit and run earlier this week, but the driver remains at large.

The truck was found in a Brampton repair shop. According to a Hamilton Spectator report, police believe they know who the owner is.

The truck clipped a van on the QEW July 17, sending it crashing and killing an 11-year-old occupant. The white Volvo tractor then left the scene, police say.

The Ontario Trucking Association has been assisting with the investigation and donated $4,000 to Crime Stoppers in hopes someone would come forward with information.
