Sarens opens new Canadian head office in Leduc

LEDUC, Alta. – Sarens Canada, which offers solutions to heavy lifting and engineered transport, including trailers and transport management, today opened its new Canadian head office in Leduc, Alta.

With special guest Ludo Sarens, company chairman of the board, who traveled from Belgium to take part in the event, Sarens has progressed from forestry work in the 1940s, telescopic cranes in the 1950s to now possessing one of the largest cranes in the world, the SGC-120.

In 2011, Sarens expanded its services into Alberta with the acquisition of Canada Crane Services, and has since increased its employment numbers in the province from 70 to approximately 240 today.

The grand opening of the new Leduc office will take place today (Nov. 24) from 3-7 p.m. at 6019-35 Street.
