WEST CHESTER, Pa. — A. Duie Pyle, Inc. announced the introduction of its customer service system, Dashboard to Desktop, at some of this year’s U.S. trade shows.

The Dashboard to Desktop system gives Less Than Truckload (LTL) customers perpetual visibility of their freight, enabling them to track their shipments from pick-up to delivery, right from their own desktops.

A. Duie Pyle’s technology, which utilizes Qualcomm’s two-way wireless satellite communications system, allows customers to communicate directly with their drivers, giving them real-time, in-transit visibility so they know exactly where their freight is at any given time – and when, nearly to the minute, it will reach its destination.

A. Duie Pyle’s Dashboard to Desktop system features: Truck location and delivery stop; Real-time shipment tracking; Automatic e-mail notification of delivered shipment; Web-based point of delivery and estimated time of arrival user tracking options

“Customer service is the core of our business, and its value has even been recognized by customers like DuPont and Lowe’s,” said Peter Latta, president of A. Duie Pyle. “Dashboard to Desktop, the first system of its kind to be offered for the LTL industry, takes our customer service offering to the next level. By combining satellite tracking capabilities with real-time, online access, this system provides LTL customers with more visibility and security of their shipments than ever before.”
