Carrier Logistics is using artificial intelligence to automate replies to inquiries, with a new platform called CARL – CLI’s Automated Response Logic.
The technology automates the connection between email inquiries and the FACTS transportation and freight management system.
The end result is less time answering email inquiries, with a tool that handles increases and fluctuations in email volumes, the company says. Requests for quotes can be answered within seconds, without human intervention.
There is more artificial intelligence to come. CARL is working on automatic rate quote responses at the moment, but will soon support automatic POD retrieval, automatic shipment tracking response, and automatic charges retrieval, Carrier Logistics says.
